The H8000 is Eventide's most powerful Ultra-Harmonizer® effects processor ever. Taking the ORville™
platform to the next level, the H8000 offers more processing power, runs at a higher clock speed,
and features Monolithic Tandem™. This intimately links both processors to produce the most complex
algorithms ever, including 5.1 reverb and effects up to 96kHz. New search functionality expedites
finishing what you need in the Eventide Ocean of nearly fifteen hundred post-production and music

Have It Your Way: The H8000A or H8000
The H8000A offers four channels of pristine analog in and out combined with four channels of AES/EBU,
ADAT, and S/PDIF. The H8000 offers two channels of analog in and out combined with eight channels of
AES/EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF.
The analog inputs feature wither guitar friendly ¼" TRS or XLR input jacks. The H8000 also offers remotely switchable true bypass. Featuring our anything-to-anything routing, the unit can be configured flexibly to accommodate any requirement. Processing Power For Days-

With the H8000 you will run out of ideas before you run out of power to instantiate them. With our
catalog of over 230 effects modules you can create effects never before thought of, either from the
front panel or using our developmental tool VSIG™. Whether creating your own unique signature effect
or dialing up one of our studio standard effects from the plethora of present-algorithms, you will
never run out of creative possibilities or the power to realize them.
Post-Production Essentials
The complex made simple.
The H8000 is chocked full of our best post-production effects including: CB Radio, Cellular Phone,
Long Distance, Random Dialer, Off Hook!, Real Dialer, Megaphone, Shortwave Radio, Traffic Report,
Radio, Intercom, Public Address, Fries With That?, Office Intercom, Sound Truck, Talking Dashboard,
Clock Radio, Bullhorn, Airplace Background, Jet Flybys, Tank Attack, Mortar Shells, Stormwatch,
TV in Next Room, Real Call-in, Boom Box, to name a few.
Also Included are templates for eight precision delays for multimchannel video post applcations, and tools specifically designed to facilitate 5.1 frame rate conversion and its associated problem of pitch correction, along with a channel for time code delay. 5.1 Reverb & Effects Extraordinaire
The H8000 is packed with 5.1 halls, chambers, rooms, booths, ambient spaces, and plates, as well as
a full tool kit of multichannel effects. Included are eight individually adjustable sets of straight
delays, modulated delays, ribbon delays, reverse delays, panning delays, doatonic shifters, various
flangers, EQs, phasers, tremelos, and filters.
And Now Midi Virtual Racks-
Stacked effects with instant program change.
The H8000 offers twenty MIDI Virtual Racks preset-algorithms, featuring up to five full-blown effect
processors ganged together. Each preset offers ten different tweaks which can be programmed, stored
and contolled in real time through MIDI. Up to forty-five different parameters can be controlled with
one MIDI control message. Individually optimized for guitar, vocals, or percussion and designed with
performance in mind, each MIDI Virtual Rack provides instant, zero latency effect changes. Single
effects blocks are also offered as separated presets so that effects chains can be assembled using VSIG.
Sample/Delay Memory For Days
The H8000 offers 174 seconds in mono or 87 seconds of stereo, leaving you plenty of time for looping and
flying in choruses, and can be used in conjunction with the arsenal of effects. The H8000 offers fast,
precise triggering.
The Long & The Short of It
Eventide's Timesqueeze® algorithm has been tested and proven in the demanding arena of broadcast
production. It provides high-quality pitch change and time-compression/expansion on play back.
If you need to squeeze 35 seconds of audio into 30 seconds or stretch it to fit a musical cue.
Timesqueeze is fast, simple and sounds great.
Control Freak?
The H8000 offers everything you need to control its parameters and functions from a remote. If you
are on stage, the H8000 offers full MIDI control, including phantom power or analog control. Quarter
inch TRS jacks accept up to two external foot pedals, up to six external foot switches, or a combination.
If you are behind the console or on the mixing stage, Eventide's EVE/NET™ remote brings all the control
and graphics display of the front panel, along with eight continuous controllers, to the sweet spot of
your choice.
Ultrashifter™ The Apex of Pitch Manipulation
The H8000 incorporates Eventide's most advanced formant-maintaining pitch shifter optimized for the human
voice. The Ultrashifter's real-time adaptive resynthesis allows for unmatched modification of vocal timbre.
So, if you are changing gender or going for something completely bizarre, we've got you covered. Also included
are our multi-coice diatonic pitch shifters.
Solid As A Rock
Large, bright blue, easy-to-read display controls are mounted on a stainless steel front panel on a rigid
steel rack-mount enclosure. The H8000 is reliable and built for the road.
Of course the H8000 wouldn't be a traditional Eventide design without the familiar numeric keypad, soft keys, and big Eventide knob. The front panel includes memory card slot for either PCMCIA or Flash memory for OS updates or additional preset storage and backup.
